That’s fantastic. I suppose there was a time when AWD wasn’t a thing for sports cars, and this was almost a legitimate solution.

Lol- oh you’re very right. I just don’t understand that guy - but I think he did it during the 1980s, when we all thought RWD was dying.

Looks like 88 or so is when he started it. I don’t really understand his reasons either. That’s a lot of work just because you want better traction in the winter.
I suspect that it was more about the journey than the destination kind of thing. To have something unique.
